PUMA responds to Marc Cucurella’s boot bin post after Chelsea slip-up
Sportswear brand PUMA delivered a lighthearted response to Marc Cucurella’s missteps during Chelsea’s dramatic 4-3 win over Tottenham.
The Chelsea defender slipped twice in the opening 11 minutes, contributing to a 2-0 lead for Spurs.
Cucurella switched his boots immediately after Dejan Kulusevski’s goal, but the incident remained a talking point.
Following the match, the left-back shared a photo of his PUMA boots discarded in a bin, poking fun at his mistakes.

In response, PUMA shared an image online of a “Caution Wet Floor” sign styled with Cucurella’s signature bushy hair.
Accompanying the post, the caption read: “It’s not how you slip, it’s how you bounce back.”
Cucurella later redeemed himself in the game, assisting Jadon Sancho’s goal, which sparked Chelsea’s comeback from 2-0 down.
