Executive Chairman Empowers Local Poultry Farmers with Strategic Support
In a significant move to bolster agricultural development and empower local farmers, the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, presented hundreds of poultry farmers with essential agricultural inputs, including chicks and feed.
This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to enhancing food security and improving the livelihood of farmers within the community.
The ceremonial presentation took place at the council Secretariat, drawing the attendance of enthusiastic farmers, members of the local government council, and other distinguished guests.
The initiative is part of a broader agricultural development program designed to enhance local food production capacity and support economic growth.
In his address, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh highlighted the importance of agriculture as a cornerstone of the local economy. “By supporting our poultry farmers with resources such as chicks and quality feed, we aim to increase poultry production, generate employment, and create a self-sustaining ecosystem that will benefit our entire community,” he stated.
