AMUWO ODOFIN LG INTERCEDES IN PRAYERS FOR A SUCCESSFUL YEAR 2024
The Amuwo Odofin branch of the Nigerian Union of Local Government employees (NULGE) organized an interdenominational prayer to commemorate the beginning of the New Year.
Comrade Thompson Ibrahim Temitope, the NULGE chairman, emphasized the significance of this prayer gathering in his welcome speech. He highlighted that it was a moment for NULGE to welcome staff back to the office and to seek divine intervention for the well-being of the entire workforce and political leaders.
During the event, the Executive Chairman Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh delivered a speech in which he urged the staff members to adopt essential values such as focus, determination, hard work, and excellence as they navigate through the year. He reassured them of his ongoing support for their welfare and encouraged them to be diligent in their duties.
Religious Clerics Pastor Biola and Alhaji Ashamu also addressed the staff members. They advised them to demonstrate kindness, peace, and honesty in both their careers and personal lives.
