Everton reportedly set to reject Manchester United new bid for Jarrad Branthwaite
Everton are reportedly set to reject Manchester United new bid of £50 million for star defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
According to talkSPORT, the offer includes £45 million up front and £5 million in add-ons.
However, Everton are expected to reject the bid as they are holding out for £70 million for the 22-year-old England defender.
Everton had already turned down United’s initial offer of £35 million last month. Despite this, personal terms have been reportedly agreed between Branthwaite and Manchester United.

Manager Erik ten Hag is keen to bolster his defense following the departure of Raphael Varane at the end of his contract.
Manchester United’s minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also looking not to overpay for players, a strategy to avoid past financial missteps.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have also shown interest in Branthwaite, but United remain the only serious contender for his signature.
Branthwaite, who started his career at Carlisle United, joined Everton in January 2020 at the age of 17.
He has since signed multiple contract extensions with the Toffees, the latest being in October 2023.
