Kelechi Iheanacho agrees to join La Liga side Sevilla
Sevilla have secured a deal for former Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, following Youssef En-Nesyri’s transfer to Fenerbahce.
The 27-year-old Nigeria international joins the La Liga side after his contract in England expired this summer.
According to Relevo, as reported by Football Espana, Iheanacho was linked to Sevilla, and shortly after, journalist Matteo Moretto confirmed that the deal was finalized.
Last season, Iheanacho scored six goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances for Leicester, coming on mainly as a substitute.

Iheanacho initially joined Leicester for €25 million from Manchester City but struggled to fulfill his potential.
Sevilla hope that a new environment and the guidance of coach Garcia Pimienta can help Iheanacho rediscover his form, aiming to surpass his best league tally of 12 goals in 2021.
He will compete with Isaac Romero and Dodi Lukebakio for a spot in Sevilla’s attack.
