Paul Pogba will not be training at Manchester United’s Carrington facility as part of his preparations for a return to professional football, contrary to circulating reports.

The 30-year-old French midfielder, whose contract with Juventus was recently terminated, is currently working out in Miami while exploring his next move.

Juventus released Pogba after his doping ban was reduced from four years to 18 months following a successful appeal.

This allows him to resume training in January and competitive football in March.

Popular transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed, “Reports of Paul Pogba set to train at Manchester United’s Carrington are not true.

“Pogba is not planning to train at any club as he’s working in Miami on a daily basis.

“As soon as he signs for a new club, Paul will be ready to go and train there. No contacts with United.”

Sports journalist Ben Jacobs added that Pogba is considering options across MLS, Europe, and the Middle East while maintaining his fitness in Miami.

The Frenchman, who played 233 matches for Manchester United following his record-breaking £89 million move in 2016, helped the club win the Europa League and EFL Cup during his second stint.
