Toyin Abraham moved to tears by die-hard fan’s heartfelt gesture
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham shares an emotional encounter with a devoted fan, Young Purpose, who surprised her with a thoughtful gift.
The fan presented Toyin with a personalized towel featuring the logo of her latest film, Alakada Bad and Boujee, as well as a banner promoting the movie.
The gesture deeply moved Toyin, who posted a video of the encounter on her Instagram. In the clip, the visibly emotional actress thanked the fan for his creativity and effort while engaging in a heartfelt conversation.
During the exchange, Young Purpose admitted to being overwhelmed, saying, “I thought you’ve left.”
In response, Toyin reassured the fan, saying, “No, I have not left. You want to be my friend? Let me have your Instagram handle. What’s your Instagram handle so you can be chatting me. You are shaking, it’s okay. Don’t cry, I’m here with you.”
Toyin described the moment as one of the highlights of her career.

To everyone who has seen #Alakadabadandboujee, thank you so much, and please preach about Alakada Bad and Boujee to people who haven’t seen it,” she wrote while sharing the video.
The fan encounter comes amidst the success of Alakada Bad and Boujee, which debuted in December 2024 and has already grossed ₦305 million at the box office within 18 days.
