In a video posted to Instagram, VeryDarkMan claimed, with supporting evidence, that the prosecutor in the case and the presiding judge have close ties to Mercy Chinwo.
According to VeryDarkMan, Mikel Ezekwe, the prosecutor, has been sanctioned by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for alleged human rights violations.
Furthermore, VeryDarkMan claimed that Omoeye Alexander follows Mercy Chinwo on Instagram, prompting him to question his connection to the singer.
He expressed concerns about potential favoritism and suggested that Judge Alexander step down in the lawsuit, due to his connection to Mercy Chinwo.
