Stanley Omah Didia was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He was born on May 19, 1997, in Rivers State and hails from Egbeda, Emohua, Rivers Local Government Area. He attended Rivers State Comprehensive High School before enrolling in the University of Port Harcourt. He comes from a musical background, and his grandfather used to play instruments for Celestine Ukwu, who passed away in 1977. Omah Lay’s father was a local drummer.
Career
Omah Lay began his musical career as a rapper, under the stage name “Lil King.” However, he later moved on to songwriting and music production, releasing the songs “Do Not Disturb” and “Hello Brother” in April 2019.
