Iran announces end of war with Israel
Iran has announced the end of its 12-day war with Israel, following a US-proposed ceasefire.
Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian declared the end of the war, describing it as one “imposed by Israel.”.
Earlier, a ceasefire aimed at halting tit-for-tat strikes between Israel and Iran was earlier announced by US President Donald Trump.
However, Israel and Iran have agreed to the ceasefire, with Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian stating they will respect the agreement if Israel reciprocates.
The war resulted in significant loss of life, including military personnel, as well as potential civilian casualties.
