2. Combine coconut oil and sea salt.
When the water is heated, add 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil and 1 to 2 teaspoons sea salt to it. I usually just combine the ingredients in a measuring cup with hot water.
Don’t worry if it isn’t perfect! After making a batch or two, you may always change the measurements to fit your hair. If you have oily hair, you may want to use less coconut oil.
