Anas Al-Sharif, Al Jazeera journalists pass away in Israeli airstrike

Tears flow as Al Jazeera Arabic correspondent, Anas Al-Sharif passes away.
The 28-year-old journalist was killed in an Israeli airstrike on August 10, 2025.
The airstrike occurred outside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of five Al Jazeera staff members.
Prior to his tragic passing, Anas Al-Sharif reported live from Gaza City documenting intense Israeli bombardment.
Anas Al-Sharif leaves behind his wife, Bayan Sharif, and two young children, Sham and Salah.
Earlier in last month, Israel launched an attack in Gaza City that killed 39 people and wounded dozens more, targeting the Al-Baqa Café, a popular spot for journalists and locals.
