Borussia Dortmund ruined Kylian Mbappe’s hopes of winning his first Champions League title with Paris Saint-Germain, before his exit.

Dortmund secured their spot in the final with a 2-0 aggregate at the Parc des Princes.

PSG entered the game trailing 1-0 from the first leg encounter in Germany, and failed to overturn the scoreline as Mats Hummels’ goal sealed Dortmund’s final ticket.

Despite dominating possession and shots, PSG struggled to beat Dortmund’s defense, with Mbappe unable to make any significant impact.

On-loan Manchester United player Jadon Sancho rejoiced in Dortmund’s victory, although his performance didn’t match his first-leg brilliance.

Late efforts saw PSG hitting the woodwork twice, adding to their frustration after hitting the goalframe six times over both legs.

Dortmund will now face any of the teams between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for the final at Wembley, but that will be after both sides clash on Wednesday.
