Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to move out of his £8.5 million family home in Barcelona following his separation from his wife, Cristina Serra.

The couple, who have been together for decades and married in 2014, have three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22 and Valentina, 17.

The luxury property, located in Barcelona’s exclusive neighborhood and previously owned by football legend Rafa Marquez, was purchased by Guardiola in 2021 through a company jointly run with his wife.

The four-story house boasts a large swimming pool, spans over 8,000 square feet, and occupies a plot exceeding 22,000 square feet.

Reports from Spanish outlet El Confidencial suggest that the home was used as a base for the couple’s “physical distancing” since Cristina moved back to Barcelona in 2021 to focus on her fashion business.

Despite living apart, the couple reportedly maintained a “cordial and affectionate relationship” and spent Christmas together with their children.

Journalist Lorena Vazquez, who broke the news, confirmed that no third party was involved in the split, stating, “It’s been a carefully-considered decision discussed over several months.”

Guardiola, 53, is expected to continue living in his £2.7 million residence in Salford. Meanwhile, Cristina has been managing her family’s fashion business, switching between Spain and London.
