Antonio Conte to be announced Napoli coach on Wednesday
Antonio Conte is set to be announced as Napoli’s new coach after a meeting with club President Aurelio De Laurentiis in Rome.
According to Football Italia, the dinner which will also be attended by new director of sport Giovanni Manna, marks the final step in months of negotiations.
Conte arrived in Rome earlier on Tuesday, with Sky Sport Italia reporting on the imminent conclusion of the contract, which includes critical image rights details.
The deal is said to be worth €6.5 million per season plus bonuses, with a three-year term and no release clause.

Conte’s arrival in Italy was first noted at Turin airport, where he signed autographs, including one dedicated to Napoli fans with the message, “With affection and Forza Napoli!!!”
Meanwhile, a contract signing is expected on Wednesday, and a formal introduction to the media is planned for a later day this week at the historic San Carlo Theatre in Naples.
