Kelani’s Call to Action: Climate Change and Youth Empowerment Take Center Stage

Comrade Yusuf Kelani, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Climate Change, paid an official courtesy visit to the office of the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government. During the visit, Kelani emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and urged the council chair to intensify efforts in protecting the environment.

As a former youth leader, Kelani also seized the opportunity to address the youth present, appealing to them to dissociate themselves from a proposed protest scheduled for August 1, 2024, by a faceless organization. He emphasized the need for peaceful and constructive engagement, rather than resorting to protests that could potentially harm the community.

Kelani’s visit underscores the commitment of the current administration to addressing climate change and promoting sustainable development at the grassroots level. The Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr.
