While Cristiano Ronaldo has officially extended his stay at Al-Nassr, signing a new two-year contract, the star forward has said his ambition has “no finish line”.

In remarks published by Record, the 40-year-old Portuguese icon reaffirmed; “the ambition I feel has no finish line. It is consistency, commitment, and collective work that will make us better. And that is the task I am here for. We are starting a new chapter!”

Despite scoring 93 goals in 105 games since his 2022 arrival, Ronaldo has only lifted the Arab Club Champions Cup (2023) with Al Nassr.

The club has finished runner-up in back-to-back SPL seasons and dropped to third place last term, falling short of its major trophy ambitions.

Still, Ronaldo remains a crucial part of the Saudi Pro League side.

Ronaldo notably turned down offers to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup with other clubs to focus on Al Nassr’s 2025/26 preparations.

The Riyadh-based outfit are now in search of a new head coach following Stefano Pioli’s departure earlier this week.
